Abstract

This article deals with analysis of feuilletons and essays of S. Cherkasenko, the main topics of which were
social, political, cultural and spiritual processes in Ukraine at the beginning of XXth century. It also describes a
rich gallery of satirical types, which mostly were accepted as a moral character of that time and condemned by the
author.
