Abstract

The article includes the description of different types of asyndetic complex sentences, used by Pavlo
Zagrebelnyi in creating artistic imagery of the novel “Dyvo”. It is stated, that asyndetic constructions comprise
great expressive possibilities: the author imparts the idea of the novel with the help of intonation and semantic
connections between the parts of an asyndetic complex sentence.
