Abstract

The article considers text as an universal mean of information transfer in scientific
communication. It gives different points of view as to a text and a scientific-technical texts as a
communicative unit of speech act, which is correlated with typical situation; it describes factors of
communicative situation, determining opportunity and efficiency of scientific communication.
