Abstract

Based on etymological and linguo-cultural analysis the article highlights the proper names containing
elements -ин/ина/in/ina in their morphemic structure. It considers the cognitive production of information of the
Gestalt concept WATHER/ ВОДА in anthroponyms, toponyms, hydronims, anthropomorphisms. The affinity of
proper names in different languages as well as their territorial spread are put under analysis
