Zamoshyna-Cherif N. A. Derived locative nouns with suffix -(er)ei in German and -erie in French

Abstract

The article focuses on the contrastive analysis of the structure and semantics of derived locative nouns with the suffixes -erei and -erie , i.e. nouns, denoting locality in two Indo-European languages – German and French. The semantic and structural classification of the units under analyses are determined. The systemic analysis of the units in question has made it possible to establish a certain interdependence of their semantics, their productivity, frequency of occurrence in the languages of comparison.
