Abstract

The article establishes correlates of the ANGER conceptual referent, which constitute the image content of the
emotional concept ANGER in the contemporary English fiction. Basic correlates of the ANGER conceptual
referent include the concepts NATURAL PHENOMENA, LIQUID, ANIMAL.
