In the article there has been the evaluative categorization of human intellectual abilities in the English language
from the point of view of cognitive linguistics considered. Static and dynamic components are revealed within the
framework of the process of evaluative categorization itself. The results of our research concerning the
mainstream evaluative categories and their typological systematization are represented.
