Abstract

It was investigated the understanding of speech statements as purposeful speech actions. On the analysis of
linguistic literature it was revealed how the study of estimated statements, praise in particular, gives the
opportunity to learn the personality via the system of valuable orientations, moral and social ways, which find
their reflection in the process of speech communication.
