Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of Anglicisms in the author’s self-expression function in the fiction. It is
found out that the author’s thoughts are transferred through the protagonists’ thoughts. Anglicisms are used to
describe the foreign reality: 1) the narration is from the first person; 2) the English epigraph is the means of
describing the main idea, the mood of the story; 3) the chapters, the parts of the novels, verses are in English;
4) the author’s remarks.
