Abstract

This article studies the Substitution phenomenon of the legal idioms in place of humans in the defense
statements. On the basis of the research of V.G Gak, V.M Leichik, this article outlines 3 types of Substitution
phenomena: The Substitution of Forms, Substitution of Semantics, Substitution of Signified. This paper focuses on
the phenomenon of the Substitution of Semantics.
