Abstract

The article outlines the ways of possible worlds building by means of intertextuality. Besides, it reveals the
results of the intertextual analysis of the novel “City of Glass” by Paul Auster and proves that intertexualty serves
as an effective tool for building possible worlds within the texture of the given world of the novel.
