Abstract

The article deals with the conceptualizing function of the intertextuality of Ancient Greek and Latin epigrams
on the example of epitaphs which belong to the conceptual sphere of death. The author finds out the sources of the
intertextuality of epigrams, analyzes intertextual nominative units and structures and investigates how they form
the main textual concept and include it in the certain conceptual sphere
