Art publicistic, created by writers, is characterized by direct influence into the phenomenon of the society. It
forms people thinking, has strong influence onto the nationally oriented persons.
There is the researching of paradigmatic relations as one of the ways of connections between lexical and
semantic field’s «patriot» units in the article, which was created on the basis of modern Ukrainian and art
publicistic. It is considered the meaning of contextual synonymy and antonime by the author of scientific studio.
Using the lexical-graphical resources, it is represented the evolution of the lexeme «patriot».
The phenomenon of patriotism is colored with such key words as Motherland and Native country and has a
great importance for the renaissance of the Ukrainian idea.
