The paper deals with translation peculiarities of text-reviews, located in the Internet. Text-review as a
qualitatively new text, created on the basis of the source text, is the mediator in verbal communication and is
characterized by its pragmatic intention, evaluativity and emotiveness. Electronic text-review is a special type of
secondary text, which is included into hypertext and belongs to texts of mass communication, aesthetic principles
of which belong to the tradition of postmodernism. The ways of conveying emotiveness at phonetic-morphological,
lexical, syntactic levels while translating English text-reviews into Ukrainian language have been analyzed. Given
examples of Internet text-reviews show that Ukrainian and English languages are different by not only isolated,
peculiar parameters, but by the complex of verbal and nonverbal information.
