Abstract

The article deals with such problem as realization of phono-graphical means of stylistics in the texts of belleslettres style. The task of the article is a study of one of the phono-graphical means that is used to create speech
characteristics of the image and considered as peculiar graphic means which is called graphon. Research
substantiates the importance of understanding and recognizing graphical violations from standard writing. For
better perception of belle-lettres text the article reveals the essence of graphon; describes the reasons of the use of
this stylistic means; analyzes the groups of graphons and ways of their realization. On the base of the novel
“Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte the functions of graphon in the English fiction are defined.
