Podolyaka N. S. Dmitry Zahul and his Ukrainian translation of «The tale of Igor’s campaign»

Abstract

In the research, the author presents biographical information about the poet-symbolist, literary critic,
essayist, translator and teacher - D. Zahul. The paper describes his wide translation experience, characterizes the
main sources related to the Ukrainian translation of "The Tale of Igor’s Compaign", so as to warrant a fresh look
at the heritage of the worker of Ukrainian national culture.
