Abstract

The article deals with lexical peculiarities of the English written educational discourse. It
considers the notion „discourse‟, analyses specific features of the English written educational
discourse and explains the importance of the educational discourse study as one of the types of
institutional discourse. The research is focused on establishing key lexical means and peculiarities of
the English written educational discourse.
